Center on Halsted hosting Oscar party

Center on Halsted, 3656 N. Halsted, will host a viewing of the 80th Annual Academy Awards Sun., Feb. 24, at its Hoover-Leppen Theatre and Irving Harris Reception Hall.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the telecast starts at 7 p.m. There will be a buffet, cocktails and a silent auction. Tickets are $50 each, and are available by visiting www.CenteronHalsted.org or calling 773-472-6469.
