PASSAGES John Joseph Manzella

John Joseph Manzella, 74, retired beautician, of Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood, passed away peacefully, December 17, 2016.

Beloved life partner of 51 years to the late Carlyle John Jajko [ http:// www.windycitymediagroup.com/lgbt/PASSAGES-Carlyle-J-Jajko-83-/52473.html ], faithful companion of Kukla Chang and many other shih tzus.

John will be deeply missed by his neighbors, six of whom were with him when he died. He was regarded by many as the pipeline of the peripatetic community of Lakeview.

Services are private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to the Anti-Cruelty Society www.anticruelty.org , or Advocate Illinois Masonic Hospice, 773-975-1600.
