Howard Brown Health held its annual Big Orange Ball for the third time on Oct. 21 at Carnivale.

Guests came out in various costumes to the restaurant/event space. Wonder Woman Megan Taylor was spinning records as attendees entered the massive dining room. The staff was very attentive, passing South American-inspired appetizers and bartenders were quick with the potent margaritas.

Safe sex was promoted, with bowls of condoms at every empty space available for trick-or-treaters.

RuPaul's Drag Race season-nine winner Sasha Velour worked the staircase to the tunes of Annie Lennox and sprouted angel wings to the delight of onlookers watching her impressive segment.

Steamworks Chicago sponsored a roomful of stuffed bears and RIP admission included a VIP space and a photo moment with the talent. A silent auction, a raffle and DJ Ted Eiel's spinning closed the evening's festivities.
